The value attached to in-person events has increased incrementally since 2020 and the COVID lockdowns. Due to widespread remote working, meeting up in person at conferences, AGMs, teambuilding retreats or even committee meetings has gained an added appeal. It is broadly acknowledged that this is where company culture is now implemented and spread. Furthermore, in recent years, surveys have shown that, in the wake of so much 'fake news' and spiralling opinion pieces instead of factual reporting, events are now considered the no. 1 source of truth for attendees.
Bearing this in mind, the industry has exploded and there is always something happening for everyone across the calendar year. Crowdlink is excited to be involved in the production of your events. Whether it be a business meeting, a press conference, a product launch, or a social gathering, wherever microphones, cameras and sound systems are required, we are consistently ready to bring our expertise, advising on the best ways to engage your audience - clearly!
By that we mean that we are aware of how important it is to ensure accessiblity not only in relation to physical access to a venue, for example, but also to clarity of viewing and hearing, ensuring there are sufficient screens and speakers placed at the appropriate intervals throughout the event space, that there is no feedback when a speaker moves to the very edge of the stage or rustling as a chairperson's necklace gets close to their mic. All of this is equally essential to some members of the audience (such as those with heightened sensitivity, visual impairment or hearing issues) properly accessing your programme content and experiencing the full value of your event. It is key to have expert audiovisual and technical production partners working alongside you to protect that value.
